In your current state, do you feel lovable?
Feeling unloved is one of the biggest lies we can ever buy into. If we’re not careful, we can all too easily fall into the belief that because we struggle and may not conform to a certain performance or image standard, we only have the disapproval and rejection of both God and other people. It’s simply not the case. No matter what, we are loved by God. No matter how we have failed, what we look like, what we believe, who is or is not in our lives, God still passionately loves and pursues us. He’s doing so right now. Can you believe and accept it?
“The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.”
Jeremiah 31:3
John 3:16 is a much quoted Bible verse, but it’s a powerful example of the lengths God will go to out of His love for you.
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
It doesn’t matter what’s going on in your life; nothing cancels God’s unconditional love for you. As we close this week, remember, “love never fails” (1 Corinthians 13:8).
That especially applies to how God connects to you. He is at work in your life, your recovery and your struggles. He wants to be close to you. Don’t shut Him out. Don’t believe any of the harmful lies, contrary to God’s Truth. He loves you, wants to bless, heal and help you.
Why accept any other theory?
God bless you!!!

Don’t believe the lies: Failure, Ergo, Unacceptable
“…being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.”
Philippians 1:6
Have you tried and tried and tried? To meet a beauty standard? To perform? To be perfect? To be valuable? Do you feel like a failure?
God knows where you are, why you’ve reached the current conclusion about yourself. But He never calls you a failure. Yes, you may have failed; you may have lived your entire life trying to be “good enough.”
God knows how we fall short of the mark. We make mistakes. We sin. We struggle. But God never changes His Mind about us.
There is a difference between failing at something and being a failure. We all fail in life. No one is exempt.
Failure is a circumstance in life, however; it is NEVER you!!! You are created for triumph, not failure. THAT is who you are! Copyright © 2012 by Sheryle Cruse

Don’t believe the lies: Hopeless, Ergo, Unacceptable
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
Romans 3:23
Do you feel like you’re only hopeless?
God never sees us that way. He knows we fall down- A LOT! But still, He’s made up His Mind about the importance of our unique and blessed lives. He has designed a future for each of us (Jeremiah 29:11)…
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”
Before you try again to do something, all on your own, go to God WITH it first, including wherever you are in issues and in your recovery! Don’t give up. Hope is real and it applies to even your life and situation! Copyright © 2012 by Sheryle Cruse
